Why does no one tell me these things!?!? I just found out about the Westboro Baptist Church a day ago, today I did some researching and I was like, “Whoa, whoa, whoa! Bitch please, you better be pretty or else you gonna get shit!” And tada, they were ugly mofos. I would have done this either way, but I would have toned it down if they would have been pretty people.
So basically they are a church that generates hate(Lol ‘Where is the love?’ reference), they have pretty fucked up protest activity. They have anti-gay pickets, funeral pickets, they even picket against Jews! Here are a few things I found on Wikipedia(Love you Wikipedia):
On May 14, 2008, two days after the deadly 2008 Sichuan earthquake, WBC issued a press release thanking God for the heavy loss of life in China, and praying “for many more earthquakes to kill many more thousands of impudent and ungrateful Chinese”.
On May 29, 2011, the WBC intended to protest in Joplin, Missouri, at the memorial service for the victims of the May 22, 2011, tornadothat leveled large portions of that town. Those intending to protest the memorial service or President Obama’s speech given there, or both, were refused entry into the venue by hundreds of local and regional residents, including a large group of bikers from the Patriot Guard Riders.
On May 30, 2011, the WBC was present at Arlington National Cemetery’s Memorial Day services as part of their “Thank God for Dead Soldiers” campaign. A counter protest included members of the Ku Klux Klan.
11-year-old brain tumor victim, Harry Moseley raised £500,000 for charity but Marge Phelps of the Westboro Baptist Church criticized his family for not teaching him to “obey God”. This comment within a few hours of the boy’s death caused great distress to the bereaved.
They are pretty crazy people, no? I found the last one really sad, who would do that to a child? Only a sick person would do that, not to mention any other church, even if they believe in Jesus like them, are said to be, by the WBC,”Satanic frauds preaching Arminain lies”. No matter how much you think your church is the only right one, you DO NOT go insult every other church. I don’t mind because I’m atheist, but there are lots of people who do. No one’s religion can be all right, when the time comes all will be revealed. I’m pretty fucking sure though that the WBC’s remixed religion is straight out wrong.
WBC did not manage to piss every one off, they managed to anger this hacker known as Jester. They immediately though it was Anonymous who did it. They caused a whole lot of trouble and got things cleared at an interview(Hah, don’t make me laugh, they just speard more hate!Oh goodie!). Anonymous though had declined and stated that none of the members had issued a threat towards them, that they were busy with other things to bother with WBC. Shirley Phelps, the one who they were interviewing, looked very angry at what she heard. Anonymous continued and said it was probably Jester, who is a solo hacker unlike Anonymous it seems.
There are seriously thousands of people who go to counter-protests involving WBC, some have even tried to harm the people of WBC. WBC have had millions of interviews and in each one, they manage to be armed with hate and rudeness. None of them are good people, EXCEPT for this one daughter, Lauren Drain, who was disowned for not wanting to believe in the same things anymore, this woman is very strong for still loving her family whole-heartedly even after they turned against her. She talks about how when she started growing up she started to see that not everything that they practiced at church was right. Her parents later disowned her when she spoke out of line to their ‘father’.
I seriously hope they are only trolls and that this is only to fuck with us! Since I pretty much finished my report, you guys can go on Youtube or Google and go on a searching spree to see who WBC is if you guys don’t know them.
